Last week my mother, sister and I had ourselves a little summer stay in a small town called Daylesford, which is in regional Victoria.
The weather was quite warm, and we had a lovely time soaking up the lazy-summer-day atmosphere of the sleepy little place. We did some ‘touristy’ things and had some delicious meals, however, my favourite part was the shopping.
We went to the Mill Markets which is basically a massive warehouse full of hundreds of stalls. They sell all kinds of antiques and vintage clothing, and it was so enormous we had to go there twice! We also went to quite a few secondhand stores, which I just love.
Iced coffee and pancakes, a winning combination.
Motel stylin’. I got my high waisted shorts at my local Salvos for a grand total of $5. They were christened on this trip and I haven’t stopped wearing them since.
