We’re not even 3 weeks into 2014 and so far nothing is going to plan. Considering how lucky I’ve been over the past few years, I kind of feel like I deserve this little spout of bad luck. Despite this, it has definitely thrown me for a loop, as everything I’ve been working towards for the last 6 months is no longer happening. Stuff happens, I guess, but what can you do?

In a terrifyingly beautiful way, not having any idea what I’m going to do next is kind of great. Even scarier, is that I actually have complete confidence in my ability to bounce back from this setback. How’s that for character building? The possibilité of the unknown.
