After the family photos, the wedding party headed further into the property for the official wedding photos. Surprisingly, I haven’t yet taken the time to mention the weather. I hope you’ll bear with me as I give you a little idea of what it was like…don’t worry, I’ll be quick! In short, it was the very essence of what a perfect autumn day should be. It was crisp yet bright; the sun was out for pretty much the whole day. When the sun eventually did set, we got the most perfect golden hour – much to the pleasure of both us and the photographer! Scroll down and you’ll see what I mean…
Getting ready to go; being the bride has its perks – your bridesmaids are always there to help you and well, as it turns out, anyone in a dress really…
It was pretty easy for the boys to get ahead of us, turns out navigating in a dress with a train plus with us all in heels took a little bit of effort!
This was the first set of photos we took together as the wedding party. There were literally so many great spots to choose from at Glen Erin, we really were spoilt for choice. I do love the line of trees here and if you look in the corner you can just see the vineyard.
The candid moments Chloe captured are my absolute favourites!
Our waiter Bailey was the best, the boys could not believe that his sole purpose for the day was to follow us around with drinks. Talk about service! He was also really funny and we enjoyed having banter with him in between photos.
I am still so in love with these flowers, the colours were so vibrant.
Just to clarify, my younger sister Rosie is definitely not taller than me, it was just her shoes! I swear! I think!? Now I don’t know…
I love these shots of Saffron and I, we have been meaning to get an updated photo of both of us and this one is definitely going up in the house!
This is definitely one of my favourite photos of us from the day, the light was beautiful, as was the moment that was captured.
Amongst the trees and vines, there were also a few other things to get photos in front of. I loved these bales of hay as well as the truck you can see there in the background. It gave our photos a very rustic feel, which was definitely what we were after.
My hair was done by Rachel Tyler, she did such an amazing job, I was so happy with my braid!
My make-up was done by MNK Make-Up. I actually used to work with Kristina at Forever New, so it was nice to see a familiar face. I really wanted quite a natural look which they completely perfected, they did such beautiful work.

More photos of the wedding party are still to come, I hope you have enjoyed the shots I’ve posted so far!
