The Hunger Games 2: Catching Fire

The Hunger Games 2: Catching Fire

I am officially obsessed with The Hunger Games; the storyline, emotional turmoil, Jennifer Lawrence (aka Katniss Everdeen), the costumes and the set design. What really ties it all together though, is the attention to detail.

The Hunger Games 2: Catching Fire was an exciting second instalment after the first film. From the incredible McQueen dresses – costume designer Trish Summers chose 3 dresses from the Fall 2010 collection alone – to the make-up and entire set design of The Capitol of Panem, there is so much to look at while watching. I think it it is most certainly worth an extra view or two.

I’ve already started the countdown for the third instalment, it’s going to be a looooong wait.

Isn’t it incredible how today’s Alexander McQueen could pass for futuristic fashion of the Capitol?

And I absolutely loveddddd Catching Fire, way more than the first installment and that says a lot! The next book is the only one I haven’t read yet so that I can be surprised when I watch the movie, can’t wait 🙂

I never really knew what the big fuss was all about, though I didn`t even watch a trailer or read the book. But pictures definitely mean a thousand words, so now I really feel like a wanna see this movie! love the costumes <3
