On Friday Katie and I went to Disneyland Paris, the land where dreams are made of! We insisted on buying Minnie Mouse ears and proudly sported them on all the rides, not excluding the train..ride.
This was pretty much the look on our faces for the entire day.
We visited Disneyland Paris in October, so all of Main Street was adorned with orange Halloween decorations. It really was quite a sight, and again, I am so glad I got to experience Europe in fall.
This was a really scary looking couple we saw with their child. There’s such a stark contrast between them and the background, don’t you think?
Katie and I went to every single land, (including Walt Disney Studios) and saved the best until last; Fantasyland. As it turned out though, Fantasyland closed early due to the fireworks show, so, unfortunately, we didn’t get to ride the spinning teacups. As I read this to myself I realise that it really isn’t a big deal, but at the time Katie and I were substantially upset by this news.
We did go on some great rides however, my absolute favourite was probably Space Mountain. We went on the roller-coaster twice and on the second round for no reason at all, the ride actually stopped in the middle of its tracks right towards the end. This scared the absolute LIFE out of me. Luckily, we made it off alive and I can rest easy knowing that my life hasn’t been endangered on an amusement park ride.. yet.
The other memorable ride we went on was The Tower of Terror at Walt Disney Studios. Katie was practically hyperventilating on this ride; actually, we both were. Let’s just Katie’s hands were nearly squeezed off her arms… If you go to Disneyland Paris you have to go on this ride. That’s all I will say on the matter.
To finish off our amazing day at Disneyland Paris, we, of course, had to see the firework show. It was incredible, they’re definitely worth sticking around for if you go to Disneyland!
